Hello, my name is Katrina and I am a photographer based out of Rochester, Indiana. Growing up I always had a thing for straight teeth so I wanted to become an orthodontist. Fast forward to high school graduation, I choose to become a Dental Assistant; I didn’t have to go to college that long and I still got to work with teeth. I met my wonderful husband around that same time. We married in 2004 and we have a beautiful daughter named MaKenna. She brings me so much joy. I am so blessed to have been giving such a precious gift.
From the time my daughter was born in 2005 my camera was always within a hands reach. I wanted to capture as much as I could through photographs. I know as we get older our memory fades and all we have left are the photographs. I have always been creative; scrap booking, painting, decorating cakes and even sewing. I would always take pictures of the final results, never realizing that picture taking was really my calling until one day the light went off and I knew this is what I wanted to do. The feeling I get from the time the shutter clicks to the time I show a client brings me great pleasure. Knowing that I am providing my client with keepsakes that their family will cherish for many years gives me great joy. I could not have picked a better calling.
